what it is-- and what it isn't

| "First of all, this is not an air cleaner. It is basically a humidifier that disperses scent thru the air. I prefer this to a dry air freshener. The solutions that came with this are way too strong for me. In a 20 by 20 room one capful gave me a headache and made me choke! But....what I discovered is that I use my own pure essential oils, a drop, maybe two drops in the water and it is wonderful. I actually used 2 drops of Amazing Grace oil tonight (I opened the litle bottle) and it is delightful. It may wear out the product sooner, I don't know. It's a little noisy if you prefer dead quiet, but I don't mind the noise and the light is a good night light for me. All in all, I think it was a good purchase, except for the solutions--use your own." |

"I have to say I was soo excited when this product aired at a price which was cheaper than everywhere else. I'd seen it in stores and was dying to try it. So far, I would say it's mediocre at best. First, the scents. The lime (to me) smells like a really strong cleaner as does the citrus. The lavender is rather mild (thankfully) but is not necessarily pleasant. Second, I agree with the other reviewers that you can't really tell it's working. The water turns murky immediately after you put in the scent, so I am not sure how much dirtier it's supposed to look after 24 hours. Look exactly the same to me. Third, I don't really feel my apartment smelling "fresh" after coming from work. Sometimes it does smell like the lime or cirtus after I leave it on (I have had mine for about a week and a half) but the smell (even the faint one) just gives me a headache. I very much wanted to like this product but just can't say that I do." |

Noisy but fragrant.

"I bought this to add fragrance to my home. I have enjoyed the fragrances provided, some more than others, and depending on my mood. I do use a big squirt instead of the two or three drops recommended on air. I am planning to try some other oils that I love. The unit is quite noisy. I don't really notice it during the day, but at night I have to turn it off. I love the blue light! It adds quite an ambience to my powder room. So my recommendation is qualified."

"I have two dogs in the house so was looking for something to freshen the air, which is why I purchased this. It does give the air a clean smell and the water in my unit did turn brown so it was working as it should. Please put only two or
three drops of the fragrance solution in the water and not the 2 capfuls as stated in the instruction manual; otherwise you won't be able to stand being in the same room with the unit! It is a bit noisier than I expected but certainly tolerable; I just don't run it at night. And yes, the blue light is pleasant to look at." |
