Homedics-Brethe.com Editor's Review - June 29, 2007 -Part1/3
We believe that Homedics has come up with an air revitalizer that is both nicely designed and easy to use. For those not familiar with the technology, Air Revitalizers are a type of air cleaner that uses water to clean or ‘Scrub’ the air. Along with the solutions, this sort of unit do an effective job of cleaning the air while also freshening it.
This make the Brethe product unique over typical scented products that only Mask over offending odors in a house. This sort of ‘air revitalizer’ technology is commonplace and effectively used on an industrial scale to clean and purify air from chemical and coal burning powerplants.
Please visit http://www.AirRevitalizers.com for more information on the technology and other similar Products.
Maybe you have seen the Homedics Brethe Infomercial, and we just want you know is that this unit does do more than just hide pet odors… We are very please to see Homedics introduce this product to the U.S.
We've had some previous experience with other previous Air Revitalizers while in Asia, so we had a bit of a ‘heads-up’ on what to anticipate and what to look for.
On the Design:
We like the overall appearance and appearance of the unit. If you’ve never seen one of these units in action, a natural wave motion appears inside the bowl once it is started. This appears to be a design concept that Homedics incorporated into the top of the unit to mimic the operation of the unit. We like it!
The other thing that we like about the Brethe's design is that the base is solid and includes a rubber type gasket around the base. In our experience with one unit in Asia, the unit would wobble during operation from the wave motion of the liquid. This is NOT the case with the Homedics Brethe unit. It has Solid Base and design that holds the unit solid during operation with no noticable movement.
