Does it Work?
In our experience with the Brethe Air Revitalizer and what other products reviews are say, we would say Yes. The Brethe may not be a perfect air filtere, but the term air revitalizer is perfect and well deserved for this air machine.
What causes the Swirling action of the water?
Caused by a combination of the tube that draws water upwards from the bowl and the spinning vortex of air and water spray.
Does the Brethe Use Tap Water?
According to infomercial and instructions, tap water is all that is needed.

How long will the solutions last inside the bowl?
In our Experience this will vary on the amount of solution placed into the bowl, but our typical use provides scent for 4-6 hours typically.
How loud is the Homedics Brethe Air Revitalizer when it runs?
The unit is does have some sound created from the movement of air and water spray inside the unit, however; not enough to be considered noisy.
How much solution is added?
Little more than 1 teaspoon (5 ml) according to fill line on refill solution bottles. However, we found that we liked to vary the amountadded depending on personal tastes and area the unit was being used.
How much water is used?
The bowl has a minimum and maximum fill line marked on the side. We estimate the fill lines to be from 23-46 ounces of water.
How long will a bottle of solution last?
Based on the 5 ml usage and daily use, each 60 ml bottle that comes with the Brethe should last for 12 days. The 250 ml refills should be expected to last for 50 days.
How often does the water need to be changed?
Homedics recommends daily. We have personally run our units for several days with out any noticeable effect. Unit still cleans the air, but most all of the scent is gone.
